I would really insist that you keep up some development here and there. I have had only bad experiences with syncing notes via iTunes. iTunes always deletes the notes on my phone after copying to the computer. I don't even have the box checked to write the data over! Your little app does exactly what it is supposed to do. It works for now with the current OS 3.0 so please keep checking it's compatibility with future OS updates. That's all we can ask, because the app is simple, designed well, and needs no other design additions.

I added a link to download iPhoneNotes. So if you really want to use it there you go. To find the source of your problem wiht iPhone OS 3.0 you should try to connect over SSH to your phone. If that works it should work with iPhoneNotes too.

Please bring back iPhoneNotes. Many people won't update to iPhone OS 3 yet, which makes iPhoneNotes still useful to many people. Also, there are times when an iPhone owner won't want to sync their iPhone to iTunes, for whatever reason, but they do want to upload their Notes onto their Mac. Even people who update to iPhone OS 3.0 might need iPhoneNotes--for instance, when I updated my iPhone to 3.0, one of the first things I did was to back up my Notes using iPhoneNotes, then I did a complete reset of the iPhone to wipe any residual crud, then I updated to OS 3.0. Now, I want to put my saved notes back into my iPhone, but it appears there's no way to do it easily, since iPhoneNotes doesn't work with iPhone OS 3.0--it doesn't show iPhone OS 3's in its list of found iPhones.
