A new tiny GUI for the Cisco VPN Client

Two weeks ago I was so angry about the Cisco VPN Client GUI that I’ve started to build a new tiny GUI for it. Now today I finished a first beta version. I used it for the last week and it worked very well! There is still a lot to do (as always), but the basic functions are implemented e.g. keychain support.
You can download TinyGUI4CV here. Its freeware and if I have time to cleanup everything I will release it as GPL. So enjoy and let me know what’s wrong and what you d’ like to see in a future version.

Download: Version 0.5 Beta

Need the ability to paste a softtoken pin into the password field upon the connect action. Not have to go put that in the password field every time in settings

I just discovered this and am so glad. I used Shimo for a long time but then the developers added real VPN underpinnings to in (instead of just riding on Cisco) and started charging $20. I use it for work and couldn’t bring myself to spend my own cash on it so I’ve been running an old free version of that app and ignoring updates. However, I’m having trouble getting TinyGUI4CV to work. It runs and appears in the menu and I can enter my password in the prefs window. Can you give me any guidance?

What happens when you “Connect”? do you get any response?
